Chennai Sports Organisers is a venture owned by L T Nanwani. It aims at promoting various sports in India to be played at a world class level. Chennai Cheetahs, a hockey franchise, was initiated by CSO based on passion for the sport of hockey.
Chennai Cheetahs aims at taking Indian hockey to an Olympic level, and by giving much needed exposure to Indian players to be trained by a world class captain and coach. Chennai Cheetahs as a brand stands for strength, speed, pride and honour. The colour purple signifies royalty. This is the colour of the brand. When the cheetah is White it stands for simplicity, when black it reflects strength and courage.
The cheetah was chosen for its deftness and grace while still being strong, swift and sharp. The speed lines on our logo signify the speed and strategic moves of the animal
